Mistakes were made
I have always found the quotes on courage really helpful and thought they had really helped me overcome so much. Turns out those fancy words were just a fancy.
I did the very thing I thought I would never do. Instead of owning up to my fears and tackling them, I let them get the best of me. And then what happened? The obvious- I paid the price for giving in to my fear. All this pain and discomfort could have easily been avoided had I showed more courage and confidence.
Hopefully, this will be a lesson that changes my perspective and pushes me to be more courageous.
